PVS Plastics Technology Corporation, a leading plastics-based parts manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Washington County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 26 new jobs and investing nearly $7 million into the Johnson City facility. Economic development partners include BrightRidge, the City of Johnson City, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Independent Stave Company, a family-owned cooperage and manufacturer of staves and barrels, announced plans to establish operations in Overton County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 85 new jobs and investing $30 million in its new Rickman facility to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, City of Livingston, Overton County Government, the Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Richardson International, an agriculture and food processing company, announced plans to expand operations at its Wesson Oil production plant in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $220 million and retaining 100 existing positions. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, the Greater Memphis Chamber and EDGE.

6K Energy, a cathode active materials producer for the Electric Vehicle battery industry, announced plans to establish operations in Jackson, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 230 new jobs and investing more than $200 million in the company’s manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Jackson Energy Authority, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Jackson Chamber, City of Jackson and Madison County.

Toyota Boshoku Tennessee, LLC, an automotive supplier specializing in metal stamping, announced plans to expand operations in Madison County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 80 new jobs and investing $54 million in the company’s manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include the Jackson Chamber, City of Jackson, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Essentia Protein Solutions, a food processing facility, announced plans to establish operations in Dalton, Georgia. Plans for the project include creating 80 new jobs at the company’s 20-acre site in Carbondale Business Park. Economic development partners include North Georgia EMC, Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority, Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Department of Economic Development.

The Robinette Company, a full-service film and paper packaging manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Sullivan County. Plans for the project include creating 70 new jobs and investing $10 million in the company’s new Piney Flats operations. Economic development partners include BrightRidge, NETWORKS Sullivan Partnership, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

MSS Steel Tubes USA LLC, a steel tube manufacturer, announced plans to establish its first U.S. production facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 130 new jobs and investing $6 million at the company’s Shelby County operations. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, the Greater Memphis Chamber, Memphis Shelby County EDGE and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Hanwha QCells, a leading global clean energy company specializing in high-quality solar and renewable energy products, announced plans to expand operations in Dalton, Georgia. Plans for the project include creating 985 new jobs and investing $383 million in its Carbondale Business Park facility. Economic development partners include North Georgia EMC, Dalton-Whitfield Co. Joint Development Authority, Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce, and the Georgia Department of Economic Development. 

Nokian Tyres, a global tire manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Rhea County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 75 new jobs and investing $174 million at the company’s Dayton facility to strengthen production capacity. Economic development partners include Dayton Electric Department, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Rhea County Economic and Community Development, the City of Dayton and Rhea County.

General Machine and Tool Company, Inc., a full-service machine part manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Carter County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 25 new jobs and investing nearly $4 million to expand and update capabilities at the Elizabethton facility. Economic development partners include Elizabethton Electric Department, the City of Elizabethton and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Hitachi Zosen Inova USA LLC, a global renewable energy company, announced plans to expand operations in Knoxville. Plans for the project include creating 90 new jobs and investing $7 million in the company’s North American headquarters operations. Economic development partners include Lenoir City Utilities Board, Knoxville Chamber, Knox County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Steel Dynamics, Inc., one of the largest domestic steel producers and metal recyclers, and a direct serve customer, announced plans to expand operations in Lowndes County, Mississippi, marking the largest economic development project in the state’s history. Plans for the impactful project include the creation of 1,000 high-wage jobs and $2.5 billion in capital investment to expand its Columbus campus, located on a TVA Megasite. Economic development partners include Mississippi Development Authority, Golden Triangle Development LINK, 4-County Electric Power Association and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Landmark Recovery, a leading addiction recovery service provider, announced plans to expand its headquarters operations in Williamson County. Plans for the project include creating 1,300 new jobs and investing $7.5 million to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Williamson Inc., and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Gold Creek Foods, one of the nation’s largest poultry processing companies, announced plans to establish operations in Campbell County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating more than 200 jobs and investing $15 million in its Caryville manufacturing facility to update and increase production. Economic development partners include LaFollette Utilities, Campbell County Mayors Office, Campbell County Joint Economic and Community Development Board, Campbell County Industrial Development Board, East Tennessee Economic and Community Development Agency and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Handsome Brook Farms, a leading producer of organic, pasture-raised eggs, announced plans to establish operations in Morristown, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s first manufacturing facility include creating 140 new jobs and investing $31 million at the Hamblen County facility. Economic development partners include Morristown Utilities, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Morristown Chamber of Commerce.

New Balance Athletics, a leading sports footwear manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Lebanon, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 150 new jobs and investing $68 million at the company’s distribution facility. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, the Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Elevate Windows and Doors LLC, a leading residential window and door producer, announced plans to establish operations in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Plans for the project include locating on an InvestPrep site,  creating 200 new jobs, and investing $16 million in the company’s new production and distribution operations. Economic development partners include Pennyrile RECC, Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council, City of Hopkinsville, Christian County, and the Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development.

Delavan Ag Pumps, Inc., an agritech company, announced plans to establish operations in Elkton, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 30 new jobs and investing $2.3 million in the production and warehouse operations to support the company’s recently expanded lawn and garden business. Economic development partners include Pennyrile RECC, Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council, City of Elkton, Todd County, and the Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development.

Hankook Tire and Technology Co., Ltd, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Montgomery County, TN. Plans for the project include creating 397 new jobs and investing $612 million in the company’s third major expansion since breaking ground at the state-of-the-art Clarksville facility in 2014. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation and global technology company, announced plans to establish operations in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 230 new jobs and investing $50 million in the purpose-built commercial vehicle and equipment manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Altex Tube LLC, a steel tubing manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Columbus, Mississippi. Plans for the project include the creation of 58 new jobs and $110 million investment as the company locates on the Steel Dynamics campus in Lowndes County. Economic development partners include 4-County Electric Power Association, Golden Triangle Development Link and Mississippi Development Authority.

Kroger Fulfillment Network, LLC , a division of Kroger Co., America’s largest grocery retailer, announced plans to locate in Davidson County, Tennessee. Plans for the spoke facility include creating 180 new jobs in Nashville. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Multi-Color Corporation, a commercial printer, announced plans to expand operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include the creation of 60 new jobs and investing $4.8 million as the company rebrands and expands its Bowling Green facility. Economic development partners include Warren RECC, Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Columbia Industries, LLC, a heavy equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Starkville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 62 jobs and investing $9.5 million in the company’s operations. Economic development partners include Starkville Utilities, Golden Triangle Development Link, and Mississippi Development Authority.

Toast, Inc., a digital platform for the restaurant industry, announced plans to establish operations in Davidson County. Plans for the company’s new configuration facility include creating more than 100 new jobs in the region. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. 

Rockford Spring Company, a custom spring and wire manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Marshall County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 62 new jobs and investing $10 million as the company establishes manufacturing operations in Lewisburg. Economic development partners include Lewisburg Electric System, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, Marshall County Joint Economic and Community Development Board, City of Lewisburg and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Noble Supply and Logistics, a global supply and logistics provider, announced plans to locate operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 25 new jobs and investing $4 million in the company’s distribution hub. Economic development partners include Northcentral Electric Cooperative, Mississippi Development Authority, DeSoto County Economic Development Council, City of Olive Branch, and DeSoto County.

Hollobus Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of electrical power distribution connectors, announced plans to locate operations in Murray, Kentucky, creating 150 new jobs and $2.25 million in capital investment. The investment will locate the company’s head office, primary manufacturing operation and an R&D facility. Economic development partners include Murray Electric Systems, Murray-Calloway County Economic Development Corporation, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Tri-City Extrusion, Inc., an aluminum extrusion producer, announced plans to expand operations in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 50 new jobs and investing $30 million to support customer demand and strengthen production at the company’s manufacturing operations. Economic development partners include Bristol Tennessee Essential Services, NETWORKS Sullivan Partnership, City of Bristol and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Envision AESC, a world leading battery technology company for Electric Vehicles, announced plans to establish operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 2,000 new jobs and investing $2 billion in the new state-of-the-art gigafactory, producing battery cells and modules to power next generation Electric Vehicles. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bowling Green and Warren County officials.

Dot Foods, Inc., a food industry redistribution company, announced plans to establish operations in Manchester, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 170 new jobs and investing $50 million in its new Coffee County distribution center. Economic development partners include Duck River Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, and the Industrial Board of Coffee County.

GAN Corp, an engineering and technology company, announced plans to expand its operations in Huntsville, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 100 new jobs and investing $5 million in a new facility at the Cummings Research Park.  Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Plans for the project include creating 31 new jobs and investing $13 million at the pilot facility which will specialize in manufacturing the company’s Fully Ceramic Microencapsulated nuclear fuel and refractory ceramic materials. Economic development partners include Oak Ridge Electric Department, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Roane Alliance, City of Oak Ridge, Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Wall Innovations, LLC, an aluminum door and window manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Hardeman County. Plans for the company’s U.S. manufacturing and distribution operations include creating 72 new jobs and investing $6.4 million. Economic development partners include Bolivar Energy Authority, City of Bolivar, Hardeman County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Chick-fil-A Supply, an innovative distribution service provider, announced plans to locate operations in Antioch, Tennessee. Plans for the distribution service provider include creating 45 new jobs and investing $16.3 million to support operations, ensuring Chick-fil-A restaurants have the food and products needed to serve its customers. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Macy’s Inc., one of America’s leading digitally led omnichannel retailers, announced plans to expand operations in Robertson County. Plans for the project include creating 50 new jobs to enhance performance at the Portland fulfillment center. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, City of Portland and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Fiberon, a leading manufacturer of wood-alternative eco-friendly decking products, announced plans to establish operations in Maury County. Plans for the project include creating 310 new jobs at the company’s Columbia facility. Economic development partners include Columbia Power and Water Systems, Maury County Chamber and Economic Alliance, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

3M, a leading global consumer goods producer, announced plans to expand operations in Clinton, Tennessee. Plans for the project include adding nearly 600 jobs and investing $470 million to expand two of its fast-growing product lines: Filtrete™ air filters and Command™ adhesive strips, allowing the company to respond to growing consumer demand. Economic development partners include Clinton Utilities Board, Anderson County Economic Development Association and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Novelis, an aluminum producer and recycler, announced plans to expand its recently opened operations in Guthrie, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 140 new jobs and investing $365 million to increase capacity to serve the automotive market. Economic development partners include Pennyrile RECC, the Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development, Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Kentucky Economic Development Council, Todd County and the City of Guthrie.

REI Co-op, the nation’s largest consumer co-op and specialty outdoor retailer, announced plans to establish operations in Lebanon, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 280 new jobs at the company’s new distribution center. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

West Star Aviation, a full-service aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company, announced plans to expand operations in Chattanooga, TN. Plans for the project include creating 100 jobs and investing $17 million in the Hamilton County facility to support growth. Economic development partners include EPB and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Anatolia Granite and Marble Corp, a natural stone, glass and metal manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Putnam County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 40 new jobs and investing $567,000 in the Baxter facility. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, City of Baxter, Highlands Economic Partnership, Upper Cumberland Development District, Small Business Center and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Sinova Global, a silicon metal producer, announced plans to establish operations in Lake County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 140 new jobs and investing $150 million in the new state-of-the-art silicon metal refining plant. The silicon metal produced at the Tiptonville plant will be used to manufacture silicone anode batteries, solar cells, semiconductors and aluminum and is named as a building block of the clean energy transformation. Economic development partners include Gibson Electric Membership Corporation, Reelfoot Area Chamber, City of Tiptonville, Lake County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Nashville Box, LLC, a corrugated box manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Lebanon, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 48 new jobs and investing $3.3 million to support growth and service businesses with high volume corrugated packaging needs. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Plans for the project include creating 40 new jobs and investing $567,000 in the Baxter facility. Bioventus, a global medical device manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Shelby County. Plans for the project include creating 40 new jobs and investing $9 million to meet growing customer demands and expand product portfolio at the Cordova facility. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, the Memphis Chamber, Memphis/Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

VP Racing Fuels, a race fuel manufacturer and distributor, announced plans to expand operations in Carroll County. Plans for the project include investing $14.2  million and creating 150 new jobs across its existing facility and establishing a new location in Carroll County. Economic development partners include Carroll County Electric Department, City of McKenzie, Carroll County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

86 Pearson Lane, LLC, a startup heat exchange manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Lexington, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s first location include creating 150 jobs and investing $16 million in Henderson County. Economic development partners include Lexington Electric System, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Lexington and Henderson County. This project further TVA’s mission to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Cerrowire, a leading U.S. manufacturer of cooper building wire, announced plans to establish a new metal clad cable manufacturing facility in Hartselle, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 130 new jobs and investing $100 million at the facility.  Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler EMC, Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce

Amazon, a global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to establish an “XL” Non-Sortable facility designed to receive, store and package heavy or bulky items like home appliances in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the project include creating 250 new jobs at the facility, which will also utilize innovative Amazon technologies and energy efficient, zero-emission power industrialized truck equipment. Economic development partners include City of Athens Electric Department, Limestone County Economic Development Association, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, City of Huntsville, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems, a global automotive supplier specializing in high-quality automotive interior products, announced plans to establish operations in Lee County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 400 jobs and investing $22.5 million in the Baldwyn facility. Economic development partners include Prentiss County EPA, Community Development Foundation, Lee County and Mississippi Development Authority.

Virnig Manufacturing, Inc., a producer of skid steer attachments, announced plans to establish operations in Pikeville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 74 new jobs and investing $11 million as the company expands its operations to Bledsoe County. Economic development partners include Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, Bledsoe County, City of Pikeville, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

SP-Teri, a figure skating boot manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Humphreys County. Plans for the project include creating 35 new jobs and investing $435,000 at the company’s new McEwen headquarters and manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and the Humphreys County Economic Development Council.

Voyant Beauty, a leading manufacturer of beauty and personal care products, announced plans to expand operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the project include adding 80 new jobs and investing $13 million to increase capacity and expand product lines. Economic development partners include Northcentral Electric Cooperative, DeSoto County Economic Development Council, DeSoto County officials and Mississippi Development Authority

Lodge Manufacturing Company, America’s oldest manufacturer of cast iron cookware, announced plans to expand its Marion County operations. Plans for this project include creating 239 jobs and investing $56 million to enhance production capabilities. Economic development partners include Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, Marion County Government, City of South Pittsburg Government, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Steam Logistics, a third-party logistics company, announced plans to expand operations in Chattanooga. Plans for the project include creating 400 new jobs and investing nearly $7 million to support the Chattanooga-based company’s growth. Economic development partners include EPB, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Tull Brothers Inc., an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of sustainable building opening solutions, announced plans to expand operations in Corinth, Mississippi. Plans for the project include investing $2 million, renovating an existing building and creating more than 15 jobs to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include Alcorn County Electric Power Association, The Alliance, Alcorn County and Mississippi Development Authority.

Northrop Grumman, an aerospace defense and technology company, announced plans to expand operations, opening a new facility in Huntsville, Alabama, to support the US Air Force’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program. Plans for the project include creating 500 new jobs.  Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Engineered Plastics Components, Inc., a thermal plastics automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations at the company’s Bessemer, AL facility. Plans for the project include creating 75 jobs and investing $8 million. Economic Development partners include Bessemer Electric Service, The City of Bessemer, Birmingham Business Alliance and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Firestone Building Products, a leading manufacturer of roofing and building solutions,  announced plans to expand operations in Nashville. Plans for the project include creating 28 new jobs and investing $13 million to support the company headquarters expansion. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

IMC Companies, the largest marine drayage company in the U.S., announced plans to expand its headquarters operations in Shelby County. Plans for the project include creating 150 new jobs and investing $23 million to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include MLGW, City of Collierville, Memphis / Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Harbor Steel & Supply Corp., a metals distributor and manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include adding 25 new jobs and investing $8 million to support growth and meet supply demands. Economic development partners include Warren RECC, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc., a leading U.S. based firearms manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations and create hundreds of new jobs in Blount County, TN. Plans for the project include creating 750 jobs and investing $125 million in the company’s new headquarters, distribution, assembly and plastic injection molding operations. Economic development partners include City of Alcoa Utilities, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Blount Partnership, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, and the City of Alcoa.  

Special Aerospace Services, a tactical engineering company, plans to expand operations in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the project include adding 30 new jobs and a new engineering and production campus. Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, City of Huntsville, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.    

Kelvion Inc., global heat exchanger manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Knoxville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 74 new jobs and investing $3.8 million to increase production. Economic development partners include Knoxville Utilities Board, Knoxville Chamber, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Shinhung Global USA Inc., a global logistics company, announced plans to expand operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 80 new jobs and investing $10 million in the company’s sole U.S. facility. Amazon, a global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to establish a new, state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 500 new jobs at the facility, which will also house innovative Amazon technologies and energy efficient, zero-emission power industrialized truck equipment. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Bilstein Cold Rolled Steel LP, a global fabricated metals manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include investing $17.8 million to support the company’s growth and additional facility space. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Kaiser Aluminum, a leading producer of semi-fabricated specialty aluminum products, announced plans to locate its headquarters operations to Franklin, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 80 new jobs and investing $3 million as the company transitions and expands corporate functions to its new Williamson County location. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Williamson, Inc., and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Fruit of the Loom, a world-renowned textiles and sporting goods company headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky, announced plans to expand operations. Plans for the project include adding 50 new jobs and additional square footage to support growth at the company’s distribution center. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development.

Oldcastle APG, North America’s leading manufacturer of concrete building and hardscape products, announced plans to expand operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 45 new jobs and investing more than $10 million to increase production. Integrated Biometric Technology, LLC, a technology company specializing in biometric identity authentication, announced plans to locate its corporate headquarters in Williamson County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 142 jobs and investing $2.3 million. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Williamson Inc., and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

New Way Trucks, a recycling equipment manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Booneville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 120 jobs and investing $4 million, increasing manufacturing operations and opening an additional facility in Prentiss County. Economic development partners include Prentiss County Electric Power Association, Prentiss County Economic Development Association, Prentiss County, and Mississippi Development Authority.

Barrette Outdoor Living, a leading manufacturer of fencing, railing and exterior products, announced plans to expand operations in Hawkins County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $33 million and creating 162 new jobs to the existing workforce of more than 700 at the Bulls Gap facility. Economic development partners include Holston Electric Cooperative, Hawkins County Industrial Development Board and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Smart USA Co., one of the world’s fastest growing retirement technology platforms, announced plans to locate operations in Nashville, Tennessee. Plans for establishing the company’s U.S. headquarters include creating 128 new jobs, and investing $2.2 million. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

PJ Clark Lumber LLC, a producer of lumber for the residential construction market, announced plans to locate operations in Cadiz, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 35 new jobs and investing $5 million in the Trigg County facility. Economic development partners include Pennyrile RECC, Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

NOVONIX, a developer of anode material for the lithium-battery market, announced plans to expand operations at its Chattanooga, Tennessee PUREgraphite facility.  Plans for the project include creating 290 jobs and investing $160 million to address the need for a US-based lithium-ion battery supply chain, specifically for electric vehicles and similar storage applications. Economic development partners include EPB, Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Advanex Americas, a global precision spring and component parts manufacturer, announced plans to locate its headquarters and manufacturing operations in White House, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 102 jobs and investing $17 million to support production of the company’s products, which are used in a variety of industries from ballpoint pens to space stations. Economic Development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Robertson County Economic Development Board, City of White House, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

NIC Global, a manufacturer of sheet metal components and assemblies, announced plans to expand operations in Gallatin, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $2 million and the addition of 28 new jobs to upgrade equipment and capabilities at the Sumner County facility which currently employs 200 workers. Economic development partners include Gallatin Department of Electricity, City of Gallatin, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Safari Enterprises, LLC, a leading manufacturer of two-seater helicopter kits, announced plans to locate its headquarters and manufacturing operations to Macon County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 85 jobs and investing $7.5 million in the new facility at the Lafayette Municipal Airport. Hydro-Gear, a manufacturer of power equipment drive systems, announced plans to locate operations in Carroll County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 375 jobs and investing $10 million at the Huntingdon facility. Troy Industries, Inc., a small arms components and accessories manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Lending Solutions, Inc., a provider of lending center services and financial consulting programs, announced plans to establish new operations in Knoxville, Tennessee. Robinson Manufacturing, a clothing manufacturer and distributor, announced plans to expand operations in Rhea County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 91 new jobs and investing $15 million to support the company’s growth. Robinson Manufacturing has operated in Rhea County for 94 years. Economic development partners include City of Dayton Electric Department, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Rhea Economic and Tourism Council.

General Motors and LG Energy Solution announced plans to locate Ultium Cells, LLC, the companies’ new joint-venture battery cell manufacturing plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Ultium Cells will manufacture batteries for GM’s new Electric Vehicle platform. Plans for the project include creating 1,300 new jobs and investing $2.3 billion in the new state-of-the-art facility. Economic development partners include Columbia Power and Water Systems, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Maury Alliance, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Authority, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Puritan Medical Products, North America’s largest manufacturer of COVID-19 testing swabs, announced plans to establish operations in Orlinda, Tennessee. Plans for the manufacturing and distribution operations include creating 625 new jobs and investing $220 million to support production of up to 200 million swabs per month. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Robertson County Economic Development Board, City of Portland, City of Orlinda and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Colonial Chemical, a global supplier of surfactants used in consumer products, announced plans to expand operations in New Hope, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $13.8 million and creating 44 new jobs to expand operations and construct a new research and development laboratory. BRS Offroad North America, an offroad and luxury camper manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Lewis County, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s headquarters and manufacturing operations include investing $1.7 million and creating 115 new jobs at the Hohenwald facility. Innovate Manufacturing Inc., a contract plastics manufacturer and engineering solutions provider, announced plans to expand operations in Knoxville, TN. Plans for the expansion project include adding 70 jobs to its existing workforce and increasing its footprint to support demand. ICON Clinical Research, Inc., a pharmaceutical and biotech consulting and commercial services provider, announced plans to expand operations in Davidson County, TN. Plans for the project include creating 85 quality jobs at its Brentwood research facility. Economic Development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

The Secretary of the Air Force, on behalf of the Office of Secretary of Defense, selected Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, as the preferred location for the U.S. Space Command Headquarters.  The mission of the Space Command focuses on four specific areas: deter aggression; defeat the nation’s enemies through posture and preparedness; deliver space combat power; and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.  Plans for the headquarters include locating 1,400 military and civilian jobs at Redstone Arsenal, in addition to spurring high-tech jobs throughout the Huntsville region.  TVA Economic Development was pleased to support this effort through its partnership with Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville, Redstone Regional Alliance, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, and the State of Alabama.

Cannon Automotive Solutions, an automotive components manufacturer, plan to locate operations in Cleveland, Tennessee. The site of the new facility will be Spring Branch Industrial Park’s first tenant and was developed, in part, through TVA’s InvestPrep program. Plans for the project include 197 new jobs, and $114 million in capital investment. Nova Steel, a global steel processing company, announced plans to locate in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 110 new jobs and investing $70 million in the new facility. General Motors LLC, announced plans to establish a new Electric Vehicle Platform at its Spring Hill, Tennessee facility. Plans for the project include retaining the 4,200 employee workforce and investing $1.7 Billion in the advanced automotive manufacturing operations. This project represents the largest single expansion investment ever made in Tennessee. General Motors is a direct serve customer of TVA and is expected to increase load by 5 MW as a result of this economic development project. Babynov USA, a global organic baby food manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s first U.S. production facility include creating 150 jobs and investing $44.9 million to expand its global market. Economic development partners include Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Tennessee Central Economic Authority and Macon County.

Reliance Worldwide Corporation, a global provider of water control systems and plumbing solutions for domestic, commercial, industrial applications, announced plans to construct a new distribution facility in Cullman, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 130 new jobs and investing $24 million.  Economic development partners include Cullman Electric Cooperative, Cullman Economic Development Agency, Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Teknor Apex, a global custom compound solutions provider, announced plans to expand operations in Brownsville, Tennessee. Plans for the advanced manufacturing facility include creating 200 new jobs and $85 million in capital investment to produce components for electric vehicles. Polyplex, USA, Inc., a manufacturer of thin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film for a range of commercial and industrial applications, announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Decatur, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 120 new jobs and investing $103 million to expand their facility.  Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler EMC, Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Nippon Express, USA, a supply chain services, company announced plans to locate operations on the campus of Mazda-Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 101 new jobs and investing $19 million to construct a new facility.  Economic development partners include City of Athens Electric Department, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Limestone County EDA, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Moldex-Metric, Inc., a leading manufacturer of N95 respirators, announced plans to locate operations in Wilson County, Tennessee. Plans for the manufacturing operations include creating 200 new jobs and investing $25 million to meet market demand. Mission Forest Products, a producer of high-quality dimensional lumber products, announced plans to locate operations in Corinth, Mississippi. Plans for the state-of-the-art pine sawmill include $160 million capital investment and 130 new jobs with additional economic and employment opportunities for forest product firms in the region. Homeland Vinyl, a manufacturer of vinyl profiles, including fencing, rail and deck products, announced plans to expand operations in Surgoinsville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 55 new jobs and investing $2.2 million to add multiple new extrusion lines and assembly line capabilities. SmileDirectClub, an oral care company and creator of the medtech platform for teeth straightening, announced plans to locate a new facility in Maury County, Tennessee. Plans for the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility include investing $34 million and creating 600 new jobs to extend its manufacturing capabilities and support continued growth. Samuel Roll Form Group, a steel components manufacturer and supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Iuka, Mississippi. Plans to increase production at the facility include investing $6.9 million and creating 30 new jobs. Plans for the project include the creation of 30 jobs and $2.3 million in capital investment to accommodate additional production. Economic development partners include Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association, Panola Partnership, Panola County officials and Mississippi Development Authority.

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, the leading automotive manufacturing joint venture, announced plans to increase investment in its new Huntsville, Alabama facility by $830 million. This additional commitment brings the total investment to the state-of-the-art facility to $2.3 billion, providing for new cutting-edge technologies to its production lines and enhanced training to its workforce of 4,000 employees at the Huntsville facility. Economic development partners include City of Athens Electric Department, Alabama Department of Commerce, Limestone County and the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber.

Facebook, a global technology company, announced plans to locate operations in Gallatin, Tennessee, creating 100 new jobs and investing $800 million in the company’s new state-of-the-art data center. Economic development partners include Gallatin Department of Electricity, the City of Gallatin, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and many partners within TVA.  Facebook has partnered with TVA to bring 220 MW of new solar energy to the Valley to support the company’s plans for the Gallatin Data Center to become among the most advanced, energy efficient data center facilities in the world.

Samuel Roll Form Group, a steel components manufacturer and supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Iuka, Mississippi. Plans to increase production at the facility include investing $6.9 million and creating 30 new jobs. Economic development partners include Tishomingo EPA, Mississippi Development Authority, Tishomingo officials and Tishomingo County Development Foundation.

Dollar General, a major retail company, announced plans to locate operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the company’s new cold storage and distribution center include investing $26 million and creating 65 new jobs at the approximately 160,000 square foot facility. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Engineered Medical Systems, LLC, a medical device manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Bartlett, Tennessee. Plans to increase manufacturing capacity at the Shelby County facility include creating 60 new jobs and investing $13.3 million. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bartlett, Shelby County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

MAHLE, a leading international automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Plans for the project include adding 300 jobs and optimizing the company’s production footprint to be closer to automotive suppliers located in the Southeast. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.

Amazon, a leading global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to locate a new, high-tech fulfillment center in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 1,000 new jobs and the utilization of Amazon’s Robotics technology. Aero Millwork, LLC, a stainless-steel food service equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate to Savannah, Tennessee. Plans for the new operations include creating 62 new jobs and $890,000 in capital investment. GreenServ, Inc., a regulated medical waste and secure document destruction company, announced plans to locate its headquarters and operations in Batesville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 45 jobs and investing $6 million. Agero, Inc., a leading provider of driver assistance services, announced plans to expand operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $2 million to expand the call center operations and creating 900 new jobs. LabConnect, a leading central laboratory services provider, announced plans to locate its headquarters to Johnson City, Tennessee. Plans for the project include 200 jobs to support the company’s growth. GE Appliance Southern Logistics Center, a global leader in the home appliance industry, announced plans for a new logistics facility in Murray County, Georgia. Accurate Energetic Systems, LLC, a developer and manufacturer of products for the defense and aerospace industry, announced plans to expand operations in McEwen, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 80 new jobs and investing $9.7 million towards modernizing and expanding its operations. Genesco, a leading retailer and wholesaler of footwear, apparel and accessories, announced plans to expand the company’s Nashville headquarters operations. Plans for the project include adding 60 new jobs to the existing workforce of more than 750, and investing $31 million in the Davidson County facility. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

JCF Housements, a premier housing manufacturer, announced plans to locate in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 250 new jobs and investing $10 million. The company will operate in Fayetteville-Lincoln County’s newest speculative building, an 80,000 sq ft facility funded in part through TVA Economic Development’s InvestPrep program. Economic development partners include Fayetteville Public Utilities, Fayetteville-Lincoln County Industrial Development Board, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Tokai Carbon GE LLC, a manufacturer of graphite electrodes for the US steel industry, announced plans to expand operations in Hickman, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 15 new jobs and investing $25 million. Ajinomoto Foods North America Inc., a leading manufacturer in the frozen food industry, announced plans to expand operations in Oakland, Mississippi. Plans for the project include investing $27.3 million to increase capacity. VF Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel companies for active and work wear brands, announced plans to expand operations in Lauderdale County, and locate a new facility in Tipton County, Tennessee. Plans for West Tennessee projects include $7.5 million investment in a new facility, and the creation of more than 220 jobs in the combined projects. Lockheed Martin, an industry-leading, global aerospace and defense company, announced plans to expand its facilities in Courtland and Huntsville, Alabama. The company will add two new buildings at Courtland for the assembly, integration and testing of hypersonics programs, while housing the management and engineering in Huntsville. TE Connectivity, a global industrial technology leader and manufacturer of connectors and sensors, announced plans to expand operations in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Plans for the expansion project include the creation of 100 new jobs, and $15.7 million in capital investment. Plans for the expansion project include adding 50 new jobs to the existing 150 workforce, investing approximately $8 million and adding 1MW of load. Navistar, a global commercial truck and bus manufacturer, announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the project include an addition of 145 new jobs and $125 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, the Port of Huntsville and the Alabama Department of Commerce. This investment is projected to generate an additional 5 MW of electric demand.

Mitsubishi Motors North America announced that the automaker will relocate its headquarters to Franklin, Tennessee from Cypress, California. Mitsubishi Motors’ move represents an investment in the county of $18.25 million and brings approximately 200 new jobs to Williamson County. Scapa North America, a global supplier of bonding solutions, announced plans to establish its operations in Knox County, Tennessee. Plans for the headquarters and manufacturing facility include the creation of 305 new jobs, and $24.9 million in capital investment. Sitel, announced plans to expand its financial customer service support center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include 804 jobs and $7.6 million in capital investment. Rooms To Go, one of the nation’s top selling furniture retailers, announced plans to locate a warehouse and retail outlet in Wilson County, Tennessee. Plans for the new distribution center include the creation of 200 new jobs and $64 million in capital investment. Pennington Stave and Cooperage Corp., a startup manufacturer of staves and barrels for the spirits and wine industries, announced plans to locate in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. Plans for the new production facility include the creation of 126 new jobs and $34.4 million in investment. Advanced Design Solutions Inc., a global automotive supplier, announced plans to locate in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Plans for the new plant include the creation of nearly 180 new jobs and $10 million in capital investment. Y-Tec, Keylex, and Toyotetsu – YKTA, a collaboration of global automotive suppliers, announced plans to locate a new facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The automotive parts manufacturer will be located on-site and serve the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA plant. Plans for the project include investing $220 million and the creation of 650 new jobs. This project represents the third supplier to announce in Limestone County in the last month, totaling 1,430 jobs and $380 million in investment. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities, Limestone County Economic Development Association, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Ebm-papst, Inc., the world market leader in fan and motor manufacturing, announced plans to locate in Washington County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 200 new jobs and investing $37 million in the new facility. Economic development partners include BrightRidge, Northeast Tennessee Regional Economic Partnership and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

FedEx Logistics announced plans to move its headquarters to downtown Memphis. The FedEx hub in Memphis is the largest sorting facility in the FedEx Express global network. Plans for the new location include the creation of 689 jobs, in addition to the 30,000 currently employed and investing $44 million. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Greater Memphis Chamber, EDGE, City of Memphis and Shelby County.

Arconic, a manufacturer of industrial and automotive product, and a direct serve customer of TVA, announced plans to expand its Alcoa, Tennessee operations. Plans for the project include adding 133 new jobs to the company’s 928 current employment, $100 million in investment and adding 10 MW of new load bringing the operation’s total load to approximately 40 MW. Economic development partners include Blount Partnership and the City of Alcoa.

DaikyoNishikawa, a Japanese automotive supplier, announced plans to establish a production facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The auto parts manufacturer will be located on-site and serve the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA plant. Plans for the project include $110 million in capital investment and the creation of 380 jobs at the company’s first U.S. facility. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Limestone County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Hematite Inc., a Canadian automotive supplier, announced plans to establish a production facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include $11.5 million in capital investment and the creation of 70 new jobs at the company’s second U.S. facility. Economic development partners include Fayetteville Public Utilities, Fayetteville Lincoln County Industrial Development Board and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Western Express, Inc., an asset-based truckload carrier, announced plans to expand operations in Nashville, Tennessee. The company is headquartered in Nashville and plans for this project include the creation of 225 new jobs, and $88 million in investment. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

McNeilus Steel, a steel processor and distributor, announced plans to locate a new production facility in Morristown, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 70 new jobs and investing $18.8 million. Titan Medical, a medical device manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Lexington, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 87 new jobs and $7.5 million in capital investment. Clayton Supply, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, announced plans to establish a facility in Westmoreland, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of nearly 110 jobs and $14 million in capital investment. Rocore Knoxville LLC, a leader in heat exchange products for heavy duty applications, announced plans to open a facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include 50 new jobs, and $5.1 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Knoxville Utilities Board and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce.

GSI, an international manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced the relocation of its Farmer Automatic Production Line from Germany to Bremen, Alabama. Plans for the project include $5.7 million and the creation of 50 new jobs. Economic development partners include Cullman Economic Development Agency, Cullman Electric Cooperative, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Toyota Boshoku America, a global automotive supplier, announced plans to locate a new facility in Athens, Alabama. Plans for the project include investing nearly $50 million and the creation of 400 new jobs. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities Board, Limestone County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Nucor Tubular Products announced plans to expand its Trinity, Alabama location with new production, finishing and packaging equipment. Plans for the expansion project include $27.2 million in capital investment, 35 new jobs, and an increase of 1.5 MW in electric demand. Economic development partners include the Alabama Department of Commerce, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board, and Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation.

Toyota Bodine Aluminum, announced plans to expand its Jackson, Tennessee engine block manufacturing plant. Plans for the project include $50 million investment and additional jobs. Economic development partners include Jackson Energy Authority, Jackson Chamber, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Jackson and Madison County.

Bobrick Washroom Equipment, a producer of washroom accessories and equipment, announced plans to expand its Jackson, Tennessee facility. Plans for the project include investing $6 million and adding 25 new jobs. Economic development partners include Jackson Energy Authority, Jackson Chamber, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Jackson and Madison County.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, announced plans to expand its Huntsville, Alabama engine plant. Plans for the OEM expansion project include the addition of 450 new jobs, $288 million in capital investment and approximately 3 MW of load growth. Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

SmileDirectClub, a market leader in doctor-directed, remote invisible aligner therapy, announced plans to expand operations in Nashville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of more than 2,000 new jobs and $217 million in investment to expand the company’s Middle Tennessee presence. Economic Development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, and Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

STULZ Air Technology Systems Inc., a global leader in the HVAC industry, announced plans to establish operations in Dayton, Tennessee. Plans for the manufacturing facility include the creation of 250 new jobs and $2 million in investment. Economic development partners include City of Dayton Electric, Rhea County Economic and Tourism Council and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Hubner Manufacturing Corporation, announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in Dunlap, Tennessee. The company manufactures products for the transportation and energy sectors. Plans for the project include the creation of 66 new jobs and $9.6 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Sequatchie County and City of Dunlap.

The ICEE Company, a leader and innovator in the frozen beverage industry, announced plans to establish its headquarters in La Vergne, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 200 new jobs, and investing $10.3 million. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, Rutherford County and City of La Vergne.

Transportation company, JNJ Express, announced plans to expand its headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 610 new jobs and $83.6 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Greater Memphis Chamber, EDGE, City of Memphis and Shelby County.

VP Racing Fuels, a race fuel manufacturer and distributor, announced plans to create 40 new jobs and invest approximately $4.6 million in Carroll County, Tennessee. Economic development partners include Carroll County Electric Department, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Carroll County and City of Huntingdon.

Togo North America Inc., an international producer of automotive parts, announced plans to establish a new facility in Portland, Tennessee. Plans for the new location include creating 58 new jobs and investing $11.4 million. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Portland and Robertson County.

Corell Brands LLC announced plans to open a facility in Marshall County, Mississippi. Plans for the manufacturing and distribution operation include creating 400 new jobs, investing $27.7 million and approximately 2.5 MW of new load. Economic development partners include Chickasaw Electric, Mississippi Development Authority, Marshall County Industrial Development Authority, and Marshall County officials.

Volkswagen, a leading global automotive manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations at its Chattanooga, Tennessee facility. Plans for the project include 1,000 new jobs, $800 million investment, with the potential to add approximately 20 MW of new load, to produce the company’s first electric vehicle in North America. Economic development partners include EPB, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County.

Amazon announced plans for the first Mississippi fulfillment center to locate in Marshall County. Plans for the distribution center include 850 new jobs and 4.7 MW of new load. Economic development partners include Chickasaw Electric, Marshall County Industrial Development Association, Marshall County officials, and Mississippi Development Authority

Hirotec America, Inc., a leading automotive supplier, announced plans to locate operations in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating more than 100 new jobs, and investing $40 million. Economic development partners include Fayetteville Public Utilities, Fayetteville Lincoln County Industrial Board and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

DMC Power, a manufacturer of connection systems for transmission, distribution, substation and industrial projects, announced plans to expand operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the expansion include the creation of 125 new, high-tech job opportunities, investing $8 million, and adding 2 MW of new load. Economic development partners include Northcentral Mississippi Electric Power Association, Desoto County Economic Development Council, Mississippi Development Authority, Desoto County and Olive Branch officials.

Traxy’s Cometals Processing, Inc., a metals marketing and distribution company, announced plans to locate operations in Burnsville, Mississippi. Plans for the location include $10 in investment and 25 new jobs. Economic Development partners include Tishomingo County Electric Power Association, Yellow Creek Port Authority, Mississippi Development Authority, and local county and city officials.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, announced plans for a state-of-the-art advanced research center in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the new $412 million facility include the creation of 1,000 new jobs and more than 5 MW of new load. Economic Development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and the City of Memphis. 

Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s Sutter Street Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of specialty home furnishings, announced plans to expand operations in Lee County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include the creation of 350 new jobs and approximately 3MW of new load. Economic Development partners include Tombigbee Electric Power Association, Community Development Foundation, Mississippi Development Authority, Lee County and Saltillo officials. 

Ebbtide Holdings LLC, a leading boat manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Dickson, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 100 new jobs at the facility. Economic Development partners include Dickson Electric System, Dickson County Chamber of Commerce, Dickson County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Indigo Ag, Inc., an agriculture technology company, announced plans to establish its North American operations headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of approximately 700 new jobs, investing nearly $6.6 million. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Greater Memphis Chamber, EDGE, City of Memphis and Shelby County.

Advanced Plating, Inc., an electroplating manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Middle Tennessee, locating a new facility in Sumner County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include 200 new jobs and $4 million in capital investment in the Portland operation. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Portland and Sumner County officials.

Amazon, a global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to locate an Operations Center of Excellence in Nashville, Tennessee. Plans for this project include a 5,000 person operations center for Amazon, Inc., including positions in information technology, customer interfacing, and research & development. The projected capital investment is approximately $230 million and with plans to use up to 5 MW of power. The company is expected to locate in an existing real estate development in Nashville. This announcement represents the single largest initial jobs announcement in TVA Economic Development history. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

Flex, Ltd. (formerly Flextronics), the third largest electronic manufacturing service and original design manufacturer worldwide, announced plans to expand operations in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 300 new jobs, bringing the employment total at this facility to over 1,100, and will invest $5 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Memphis Light, Gas and Water, Memphis-Shelby County EDGE, the Greater Memphis Chamber and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Van Hool NV, a worldwide manufacturer of buses, coaches and industrial vehicles, announced plans to locate its first US facility in Morristown, Tennessee. Plans for the new facility include the creation of 600 new jobs and $47 million in capital investment.  Economic development partners include Morristown Utilities Commission, Morristown Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

DENSO Manufacturing announced plans to expand operations, adding four production lines to its auto parts plant in Athens, Tennessee. Plans for the expansion project include the creation of 320  new jobs and $190 million investment.  With the addition of 2 MW of new load to one of the company’s key production centers, it will bring the plant’s total usage to 12.8MW. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities Board, McMinn County Economic Development Authority and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Topre America, a leading automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Rutherford County, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s expansion include 50 new jobs, 100 retained jobs, $60 million capital investment and 2,000 kW of new load. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, Rutherford Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Smyrna and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Cooper Tire Rubber Company, a global company specializing in design, manufacturing and marketing of tires, announced plans to locate its largest distribution center in the U.S. to Marshall County, Mississippi. Plans for the project represent a $50.5 million investment, creating 100 new jobs and approximately 500 kW of load. Economic development partners include Chickasaw Electric Cooperative, Marshall County IDA, Marshall County officials and Mississippi Development Authority.

Asurion, LLC,  a global technology company and one of Nashville’s largest employers,  announced plans to consolidate operations into a new corporate headquarters in Nashville. Plans for the project include retaining over 2,000 employees, creating 400 new jobs, investing $200 million and adding 2,000 kW of new load. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Delek US Holdings Inc., announced plans to expand its headquarters in Brentwood, Tennessee. Plans for the expansion project include $4 million in capital investment and the creation of 175 new jobs. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Williamson Inc., the City of Brentwood and Williamson County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Novelis, a global aluminum manufacturer, announced plans for a new location in Todd County, Kentucky. Plans for the new plant include 125 advanced manufacturing jobs, $305 million investment and approximately 8MW of power load. Economic development partners include Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development, Pennyrile Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation and Southwestern KY EDC

AGC Glass North America, one of the largest glass manufacturers in the US, announced plans to expand operations in Church Hill, Tennessee. One of Hawkins County’s largest employers, the company plans to create 85 new jobs and invest over $40 million, with projected electrical demand of 14.6 MW. Economic development partners include Holston Electric Cooperative, Hawkins County Industrial Board, NETWORKS Sullivan Partnership and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Toyota and Mazda
Toyota announced their plans to produce the Corolla for the North American market at this new location, and Mazda expects to produce their cross-over models that will be introduced to the North American market.  This announcement will make the sixth automotive OEM in the Valley.  Expected completion of plans in Q4 2019.

Takahata, a global plastic injection molding automotive manufacturer, announced plans to expand in Scott County, Tennessee. Plans for the project represent the creation of 80 new jobs, $9.7 million in capital investment and adding 600 kW, bringing their load to over 1,400 kW. Economic development partners include Plateau Electric Cooperative, Scott County Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Mars Petcare, a global leader in pet care, announced plans to expand its headquarters facility in Williamson County, Tennessee. The new facility will support the company’s growth as one of the largest employers in middle Tennessee, creating 200 new jobs and 1 MW of demand. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, Williamson Inc. and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Cabinets To Go, the largest specialty retailer in the U.S., announced plans to expand its national headquarters in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Plans for the expansion project include 70 new jobs, $6.5 million investment and 500 kW of new demand. Economic development partners include Lawrenceburg Utility System, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Parker Hannifin, a diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, announced plans to expand operations in Holly Springs, Mississippi. The expansion project includes adding 50 new jobs to the current 125 employees, investing over $680,000.  Economic development partners include Holly Springs Utility Department, Mississippi Development Authority,  the City of Holly Springs and Marshall County officials and Marshall County Industrial Development Authority.

Valeo North America, Inc., an automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Smyrna, Tennessee. The expansion project plans to add 80 new jobs and invest $25 million. Valeo will be expanding its current facility in Smyrna, adding 130,000 square feet to provide space for new equipment. The company will increase volume of existing product offerings and also add new product lines. With this expansion, Valeo’s power requirement will increase from 388 kW to 600 kW over the next five years. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, the State of Tennessee, the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Smyrna and Rutherford County officials.

Protomet Corporation, an engineering, manufacturing and technology company, announced plans to locate its new manufacturing facility in Loudon, Tennessee. The company will rehab a 224,000 square-foot existing building in Loudon, which will include manufacturing, engineering and R&D capabilities. The project plans to add 200 new jobs and $29.3 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Loudon Utilities, the State of Tennessee and the Loudon County Economic Development Agency.

HYLA Inc., the specialized mobile device reverse logistics technology and services provider, announced plans to locate a new facility in La Vergne, Tennessee. Upon receipt of mobile devices, HYLA’s La Vergne facility will assess the condition of each device, remove all customer data, conduct repairs as needed and resell the devices into secondary markets throughout the U.S. and around the world. The project plans to create approximately 225 new jobs and invest $1 million. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, the State of Tennessee, the Rutherford County chamber of Commerce, the City of La Vergne and Rutherford County officials.
