It’s with mixed emotions I share news of some upcoming changes in our Power Operations organization. After an almost 40-year career, Jacinda Woodward has announced her intent to retire from TVA early this year.
I have worked with Jacinda now for almost three years, and I have always been impressed with her understanding of the business and her approach to her job. She truly cares for her teams and is respected throughout TVA. She will definitely be missed.
As Jacinda moves to retirement, I’m pleased to share that Allen Clare, current vice president of Power Operations Performance Improvement (POPI), has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President, Power Operations.
Allen has more than 35 years in the utility industry, with almost 8 of those here at TVA. Allen most recently has led the POPI effort, helping ensure we are addressing high priority items to further reliability and resiliency throughout the fleet. Jacinda and Allen will work together over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
Jacinda has impacted many during her time at TVA and she has contributed greatly to the legacy of TVA. In the coming weeks, please join me in wishing Jacinda well as she moves to her next adventure.
