Eleven members of the Mississippi TVARA toured the Toyota Mississippi plant in Blue Springs near Tupelo as part of their December 12 quarterly meeting. Tour participants learned how a car is made from the beginning until it rolls off the assembly line. The Blue Springs plant opened in 2007 and makes Toyota Corollas. The plant celebrated its one millionth car manufactured at the facility on day of the tour.
