Knoxville – Renovation of Oak Grove School

TVARA partnered with Preservation Union County and others to renovate a school house.  The original school was in the area that was flooded when Norris Dam was constructed.  Over 2,500 volunteer hours performed tasks such as preparing blueprints and punch lists, painting walls and ceiling, repairing windows, repair/install flooring, wiring … a major effort that will house a County Book Station and also a community center.
