Snacks and light refreshments will be available.
The program will feature:
- An update from the TVA Retirement System for the remainder of calendar year 2024
- Additional information about the Community Schools Program being supported by the TVARA, TVA, and Knox County
- A presentation form TVA concerning new programs and technologies that will potentially impact the East Tennessee Region in the future
Donations will continue to be accepted for non-perishable items for Second Harvest.
We also plan on accepting donations for school supplies for the Knoxville Community School Program that will be used at elementary schools.
However, we don’t have a definitive list yet from the School Program on what their essential needs are. When that becomes available to us, we will send out a separate e-mail announcement prior to the September 16th meeting, describing what supplies are requested. All monetary donations will also be accepted which will be used to purchase any additional items.
Door Prizes will also be awarded.
