Upon receipt of mobile devices, HYLA’s La Vergne facility will assess the condition of each device, remove all customer data, conduct repairs as needed and resell the devices into secondary markets throughout the U.S. and around the world. The project plans to create approximately 225 new jobs and invest $1 million. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, the State of Tennessee, the Rutherford County chamber of Commerce, the City of La Vergne and Rutherford County officials.
